Spain, Japan seal final 16 berths, Canada beat Ireland at Women's World Cup

Spain and Japan progressed to the final 16 of FIFA Women’s World Cup with consecutive victories.

PERTH, July 27 (Xinhua) — Spain and Japan secured final 16 berths with decisive victories over Zambia and Costa Rica respectively, whereas Canada defeated Ireland 2-1 within the FIFA Women’s World Cup on Wednesday.
