MEA congratulates international Padma Awardees

New Delhi [India], January 27 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs has congratulated all of the Padma Awardees from overseas who’re being awarded for his or her excellent contribution in varied fields.

“Commemorating excellencecontributions to society. Congratulations to our distinguished friends from abroad on being selected for Padma Awards 2025 by President Droupadi Murmu for their outstanding contribution in various fields,” MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal acknowledged in a submit on X.

Osamu Suzuki (Posthumous) of Japan was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in Trade and Industry categoryVinod Dham from the US acquired the Padma Bhushan within the Science and Engineering class.

A complete of 8 Padma Shri awardees embrace Ajay V Bhatt and Sethuraman Panchanathan from the US and Chetan E Chitnis from France, who’ve been awarded within the Science and Engineering class.
