Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], October 5 (ANI): The second day of Water Polo and Artistic Swimming within the eleventh Asian Aquatics Championships 2025 witnessed India’s Water Polo workforce lose 11-19 to Thailand on the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in Artistic Swimming, Uzbekistan’s Khadicha Agzamova and Sabina Makhmudova secured the highest spot within the Duet Technical and Thailand’s Kantinan Adisaisiributr and Pongpimporn Pongsuwan triumphed within the Mixed Duet Technical, as per a press launch from the Swimming Federation of India (SFI).
In the Men’s Group B conflict, Thailand recorded a commanding 19-11 win over India. The opening quarter was evenly contested, however Thailand took management within the second and maintained their lead until the top. Captain Chompoosang Pattanit led from the entrance with 5 objectives, whereas Ekchaona Watcharawarong added three. For Uzbekistan, Gavashelashvili Elena top-scored with 4 objectives, adopted by Fomicheva Polina, Khusniyabonu Abdullaev, and Andriyakhina Sofiya with two every. Captain Yusupova Khilola, Mtazaeva Komila, and Talina Sofiya added one purpose apiece.
China delivered a shocking efficiency to beat Hong Kong 28-2 in Women’s Group B. Guo Chenghong led the best way with seven objectives, whereas Shi Jingjiarong scored 5. Zhang Qishuo, Hav Wen, and Liu Yan netted three every, with Li Linyun and Zhu Yajing scoring twice. Li Peiyang, Wang Xin, and Li Jianyu added one purpose apiece.
