In Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, the place homes and shops had been submerged in water as a result of report heavy rain this time, residents and others had been cleansing up on the 4th.

Mr. Ikebata stated, “During the 2011 heavy rains on the Kii Peninsula, the water was up to my knees, but this time the water was up to my neck. Most of the machines I use to repair my motorcycle are useless. It costs money to repair the store, and I don’t know if we can reopen.”
