The third recreation of one of many eight main shogi titles, “Eio-sen,” has began in Nagoya. Title holder Sota Fujii 6-crown and challenger Tatsuya Sugai Eighth-dan (31) are lined up with one win to date, and the winner on the sixth will take the title.

The third recreation of the “Eio Battle” fifth recreation began at 9:00 am on the sixth at a restaurant in Nagoya City.
