CHIBA (TR) – Chiba Prefectural Police this week arrested a 43-year-old Tokyo fireman over the alleged illicit filming of a girl at a railway station, experiences the Sankei Shimbun (July 17).
At round 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Tatsunori Saika, a firefighter on the Kanamachi Fire Station, allegedly used his smartphone to take tosatsu (voyeur) footage up the lady’s skirt on an escalator at JR Abiko Station.
Upon his arrest for violating the Law Banning the Taking of Sexually Explicit Photographs, Saika admitted to the fees. He mentioned, “I saw a woman wearing a short skirt on the train and I really wanted to see her underwear.”
In finishing up the crime, Saika positioned his enterprise bag containing his smartphone close to her skirt. When the lady seen suspicious motion, she screamed. A close-by station worker then apprehended Saika.
A consultant of the Tokyo Fire Department commented, “We deeply regret the arrest. We will verify the details and take strict action.”
