Taiwan detects 8 Chinese sorties, 6 naval vessels, official ship round its territory

Taipei [Taiwan], November 23 (ANI): Taiwan’s Ministry of Defence detected eight Chinese sorties, six naval vessels and an official ship round its territorial waters as of 6am (native time) on Sunday.

As per the MND, of the eight sorties, six crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern ADIZ.

In a submit on X, the MND stated, ‘8 sorties of PLA plane, 6 PLAN vessels and 1 official ship working round Taiwan have been detected up till 6 a.m. (UTC+8) immediately. 6 out of 8 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern ADIZ. We have monitored the scenario and responded.’

Earlier on Saturday, Taiwan detected 18 sorties of Chinese plane, seven naval vessels and an official ship. Of the 18, 12 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern ADIZ.
