Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 25 (ANI): The Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) will current its Screen Icon Award to the Bollywood famous person Aamir Khan at its thirty seventh version, reported Variety.Â
Along with the award, Aamir Khan’s ‘Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India’ may have a particular screening to mark the twenty fifth anniversary of the movie. Director Ashutosh Gowariker can also be anticipated to attend the pageant.Â
According to Variety, the pageant will open with South Korean thriller ‘The Assassin(s),’ directed by Hur Jin-ho and starring Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il and Lee Min-ho. Hur and supporting forged members Shim Eun-kyung and Park Sung-hoon will attend the opening.
As beforehand introduced, SGIFF will give its Cinema Honorary Award, the pageant’s high prize for lasting contributions to Asian cinema, to Japanese filmmaker Kore-eda Hirokazu, together with his movie “Look Back” screening as a part of this system.

According to Variety, the lineup of SGIFF spotlights greater than 25 Singapore productions and co-productions which have earned recognition at festivals together with Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Venice and Melbourne.
The pageant s set to run from October 21 to November 1 and can introduce a Junior Explorers part with sensory-friendly screenings for youthful audiences, opening with stop-motion function “Brave Cat.” Its Undercurrent part will open with three stay performances: Taiwanese puppetry piece “Corporeal Forms: Four Stories,” stay video gaming work “The Compression Zone” and analog movie and music efficiency “Imagination + The Rest Is My Ghost.” (ANI)
