Olympic medalist Ravi Dahiya will not go to Asian Games, knocked out of trials by Atish Todkar

New Delhi [India], July 23 (ANI): Silver-medalist at Tokyo Olympics 2020, Ravi Kumar Dahiya will not be travelling for the Asian Games 2023 as he was knocked out of the wrestling trials by Maharashtra’s Atish Todkar by 20-8 on the Indira Gandhi Arena on Sunday.

Olympic and World medalist, Ravi Dahiya crashed out within the first spherical of wrestling choice trials for the acclaimed event.

Dahiya began wrestling in his early teenagers and gained the silver medal within the 2015 Junior World Wrestling Championships at Salvador de Bahia within the 55 kg freestyle class.
