BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York State Police are investigating the dying of an inmate following an altercation at Attica Correctional Facility on Friday.
NYS Police mentioned they had been notified of the dying round 7 p.m. on Friday; in accordance with preliminary investigations, the dying was brought on by a combat between two teams of inmates. A second particular person was handled for non-life-threatening accidents at Erie County Medical Center.
Seven complete inmates have been recognized as being concerned within the altercation.

The NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations is helping NYS Police with the case. The investigation is ongoing.
