Nijo Castle ‘Honmaru Goten’ Repair Work Completed

KYOTO, Aug 01 (News On Japan) –
The Honmaru-goten Palace of Nijo Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage website in Kyoto, has accomplished its restoration work and will likely be open to the general public for the primary time in 18 years from September 1.

Originally accomplished in the course of the Edo interval, the Honmaru Goten was utterly destroyed by a terrific fireplace in 1788.
