TOKYO –
A cellular battery caught fireplace inside a Tobu Isesaki Line practice in Saitama Prefecture on September 14, leaving a highschool pupil with minor burns earlier than one other passenger extinguished the flames.
The fireplace broke out shortly after 7:30 a.m. on a downbound practice touring between Washinomiya and Hanasaki stations.
The cellular battery was inside a bag belonging to a passenger when it caught fireplace.
Another passenger used a hearth extinguisher on the practice to place out the flames.
A highschool pupil who was commuting to highschool suffered minor burns.
