TOKYO (TR) – Prosecutors have introduced the non-prosecution of well-liked actor Kentaro Ito to prosecutors over an alleged hit-and-run accident in Shibuya Ward final 12 months, studies TBS News (March 25).
On October 28, Ito, 23, was behind the wheel of a passenger automotive that struck a bike carrying a person and a girl, each of their 20s, at an intersection within the Sendagaya space.
The actor then allegedly drove off. The man obtained mild accidents to an arm. However, the girl suffered a damaged left leg. Ito was not harm, police stated beforehand.
“I was upset and went into a panic,” Ito was quoted by police in admitting to the allegations.
On March 25, prosecutors with the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor’s Office introduced the non-prosecution of Ito. No motive for the non-prosecution was given.
According to police, Ito struck the bike, which was touring in the other lane of site visitors, whereas trying to make a U-turn.
Ito returned to the scene a number of minutes later after a male witness in his 70s pursued him whereas honking his horn. He then satisfied the actor to return.
