New Delhi [India], September 25 (ANI): The Indian Navy efficiently concluded the biannual joint Exercise Jal Prahar, a joint amphibious train performed in shut coordination with the Indian Army, in keeping with a launch.
The train aimed to validate and improve inter-service synergy, operational planning and execution in amphibious operations alongside India’s japanese seaboard.
The train was performed in two phases. The Harbour Phase (16-20 Sep) at Visakhapatnam targeted on the induction and integration of military troops onboard INS Gharial. This included onboard coaching, security briefings, orientation in the direction of a mariner’s life, sports activities and interactions periods to foster camaraderie, the discharge said.
The Sea Phase (21-23 Sep) witnessed the execution of amphibious operations, which included onerous beaching at Kakinada, launching of LCAs and BMPs, and validation of SOPs and Joint Training Protocols, the discharge added. (ANI)
