IBARAKI (TR) – Ibaraki Prefectural Police have arrested a person and his sister, each of whom are farmers, for leaving their aged mom unattended after she collapsed at their dwelling within the city of Ibaraki. The mom later died, experiences the Sankei Shimbun (Dec. 16).
Between 8:00 p.m. on December 12 and 5:00 p.m. on December 14, Makoto Okutani, 49, and his sister Tomoko, 47, are suspected of leaving their 73-year-old mom unattended after she collapsed within the backyard whereas figuring out that she wouldn’t stand up.
Their mom was pronounced useless on the scene on December 14. An examination of her physique revealed scratches and different accidents, police stated.
Police haven’t revealed whether or not the suspects admit to allegations of abandonment by a caregiver.
