Foreign Minister Hayashi attended the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held in Belgium as a partner country and emphasized the idea of strengthening cooperation with NATO countries. Based on this meeting, Japan, which holds the G7 presidency, intends to lead discussions on the situation in Ukraine and the situation in the Indo-Pacific region at next month’s Hiroshima Summit and other events.
