Hangzhou [China], October 2 (ANI): The Indian males’s compound and recurve archery groups reached the quarterfinal stage on the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou on Monday whereas the ladies’s recurve archery crew additionally secured their ticket to the ultimate eight.
The Indian males’s compound archery crew, consisting of Ojas Deotale, Abhishek Verma and Prathamesh Jawkar defeated Singapore in a intently contested match by 235-219 within the pre-quarters, scoring 58, 59, 59 and 59 in 4 ends. In the quarters, they’ll lock horns towards Bhutan on October 5.
In the ladies’s compound archery, the Indian crew had obtained a pre-quarters bye and can now tackle Hong Kong within the quarterfinal on Thursday.

In the recurve blended crew pre-quarters, the Indian crew consisting of Atanu Das and Ankita Bhakkat beat Malaysia 6-2.
In the pre-quarters of the compound blended crew pre-quarters, India beat UAE 159-151. The Indian crew consisted of Ojas Deotale and Jyothi Surekkha.
On October 4, India will play Malaysia within the quarterfinals of the compound blended crew whereas they’ll play Indonesia within the remaining eight match of the recurve blended crew.
