After the first episode of the show aired more than 25 years ago, fans of the franchise have expressed their happiness at the character being the most powerful Pokemon trainer in the world.

Nearly 200,000 people have liked a post from the official Pokemon Twitter account praising Ash Ketchum.

Over 1,200 episodes of the video game-turned-series have been produced.

Since Ash Ketchum saw the electric mouse-like Pikachu on his tenth birthday in 1997, the anime has followed him on his journey to become a Pokemon Master.

His quest to become the best Pokemon trainer has been followed by viewers for the past 25 years as he trains. In the show, Pokemon trainers collect and compete against one another’s mythological creatures known as pocket monsters.

  • Pokémon turns 25 this year, and its cards now fetch high prices.
  • Being a loser is OK, as Pokémon taught me.

Along with the anime television series, the original Japanese Game Boy game has inspired more than 20 movies, a trading card game, and a variety of other products, including pogs (collectible cardboard discs) and soft toys.

The majority of the anime’s seasons follow Ash as he travels to different made-up places to catch Pokémon in an effort to earn eight gym badges and enter their Pokémon League.

Final battle

With Ash traveling the entire world rather than staying in a single location, the most recent series, Pokémon Ultimate Journeys, has operated differently.

Ash has already won two contests: the Alola League from Pokémon: Sun and Moon and the Orange League from the Orange Islands season.

However, Ash had to defeat formidable trainers from all around the world to win the World Championship.

Four episodes were devoted to Ash’s decisive conflict with the previous world champion Leon. It also featured the return of former friends from earlier anime seasons who had since retired, including Brock, Misty, and Dawn, three characters who are beloved by the audience.

Ash’s American anime voice actor, Sarah Natochenny, tweeted the following: “YESSSS!!! Like no one before him, our son is the finest!” Several of the show’s older viewers noted that the conclusion had left them “emotional.”

It is unknown if Ash and Pikachu will be back in the upcoming anime season.

A new season of the anime usually debuts at the same time as a fresh batch of Pokémon video games. On November 18, the two most recent Pokémon games, Scarlet and Violet, will be made available.
