According to JR Tokai, the Tokaido Shinkansen has suspended operation between Tokyo Station and Maibara Station on the inbound line and between Tokyo Station and Shin-Fuji Station on the outbound line as a result of an individual intruding on the tracks at Odawara Station in Kanagawa Prefecture. However, it resumed operation at 8:52 p.m.
