Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) have launched a brand new three way partnership, Aero Breath Co., Ltd., geared toward increasing their presence within the plane aftermarket enterprise. The firm, formally established on June 1, 2026, will concentrate on plane upkeep, combining the operational experience of JAL Engineering Co., Ltd. (JALEC) with MHI’s technical capabilities.
Aero Breath’s creation is available in response to the rising demand for plane upkeep as air passenger visitors rebounds. The firm shall be headquartered at Aichi Prefectural Nagoya Airport and plans to start upkeep companies for regional plane inside fiscal 2026, pending needed permits and approvals.
