Tohoku/Joetsu/Hokuriku Shinkansen operation suspended in some sections Impact of energy outage | NHK

According to JR East, as a result of energy outage, trains on the Tohoku Shinkansen between Tokyo Station and Sendai Station, the Joetsu Shinkansen between Tokyo Station and Echigo-Yuzawa Station, and the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Tokyo Station and Nagano Station will likely be closed within the morning. I’ve suspended driving from round 10am. There is at present no prospect of resuming operations.
