MIE
About 10,000 fireworks illuminated the Kumano-nada Sea in good colours on August 17 because the Kumano Grand Fireworks Festival was held in Kumano, Mie Prefecture, drawing about 80,000 spectators, based on organizers.

The pageant takes place at Shichiri-Mihama Beach, a part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage web site Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes within the Kii Mountain Range.

One of the occasion’s signature points of interest is a large-scale fireworks show staged across the rocky space generally known as Onigajo.

The pageant is claimed to have begun about 300 years in the past as a memorial occasion for folks observing their first Bon season after the loss of life of a member of the family.
