TOKYO, Aug 03 (News On Japan) –
JR East has acquired authorities approval to revise fares, together with a 10-yen improve within the base fare for the Yamanote Line, elevating it from 150 yen to 160 yen.
The fare revision will apply to straightforward tickets and commuter passes throughout JR East’s community. The change is scheduled to take impact in March 2026.
The extra income will likely be allotted to security measures and capital funding.
