Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated North Korean chief Kim Jong Un on Monday over his reelection as basic secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) on the Ninth Party Congress, in accordance with Beijing’s international ministry.
Xi despatched the congratulatory message praising the WPK for uniting the Korean individuals and having achieved “new accomplishments” for socialism since its Eighth Party Congress in Jan. 2021, the ministry mentioned in a press launch.
