Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], February 11 (ANI): In the Global Investors Summit 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) price Rs 1000 crore has been signed between the Government of Denmark and the Government of Uttar Pradesh relating to the cleansing of Ganga and its tributary river Varuna.

The Danish authorities will arrange a Smart River Laboratory in Varanasi to watch the cleansing of the Ganges.

The Uttar Pradesh authorities is repeatedly working with the resolve to scrub Ganga. The ongoing Namami Gange Project bears good leads to making Ganga and its tributaries uninterruptedly clear.

This MoU was signed between Dan Jorgensen, Minister of Denmark, and Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of Uttar Pradesh, within the Danish Partner Session throughout GIS 23 organised within the Vrindavan scheme.

Meanwhile, Denmark’s Global Climate Policy Minister Dan Jorgensen mentioned that India is rising because the world’s main financial system, whereas Uttar Pradesh is fuelling India’s energy. He expressed his intent to work with a visionary chief like Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
