According to the Metropolitan Police Department, in October 2016, a person in his 50s from Hiroshima Prefecture illegally logged in to the account of a smartphone fee service LINE Pay and bought 11,600 yen value of heat-not-burn cigarettes at a comfort retailer in Yokohama. Regarding “LINE Pay”, about 200 accounts have been logged in illegally in October 2018, and it was confirmed that about 7.3 million yen value of merchandise have been stolen. It is suspected that he was concerned within the injury of 1.6 million yen.
