AICHI (TR) – Police in Nagoya City are looking for a girl with lengthy pink hair who held up a taxi driver with a scissor-like weapon and robbed him of money late on Friday evening.
According to police, the incident occurred at roughly 11:55 p.m. on a road in Amazukacho, Nishi Ward. The feminine passenger out of the blue thrust the bladed object on the 34-year-old male driver and threatened him, demanding, “Hand over 100,000 yen.”
The driver handed over roughly 5,000 yen in money to the lady. She then fled the scene on foot with out paying her 3,200 yen fare for a journey that originated within the Nishiki 3-chome district of Naka Ward.
The driver didn’t maintain any accidents throughout the altercation.
Police have launched a theft investigation and are presently monitoring the suspect’s whereabouts. She is described as being in her 60s, roughly 160 centimeters tall, and of slender construct, with distinctive lengthy pink hair.
