South Korea's Yoon to Meet Japan's Kishida in Tokyo on Thursday

Seoul, South Korea – South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol will journey to Japan for talks on Thursday with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, a South Korean official stated, days after South Korea introduced a plan to finish a row between the U.S. allies over wartime compelled labor.

Seoul to Compensate Japan Wartime Forced Labor Victims

Yoon’s two-day go to to Japan from Thursday would be the first such journey by a South Koran chief in 12 years.

‘This go to … might be an essential milestone within the enchancment of relations between South Korea and Japan which has been promoted by the Yoon administration since inauguration,’ Yoon’s nationwide safety adviser, Kim Sung-han, informed a briefing on Tuesday.
