Skier injured, airlifted to hospital from Eldora Mountain in Boulder County

A skier sustained a head harm at Eldora Mountain Resort and was taken to the hospital by helicopter on Monday afternoon.

About 1:08 p.m., the Boulder County Communications heart acquired a report {that a} skier had a head harm, in keeping with Carrie Haverfield, a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. The skier, a 24-year-old man, was seen sliding down one of many runs and was believed to have a head harm, Haverfield stated.

The man was taken to the hospital by a Med Evac helicopter.

Eldora’s ski patrol, the Nederland Fire Protection District, American Medical Response and the sheriff’s workplace responded to the decision.
