The first recreation of the “Kiosen”, one of many eight main shogi titles, was held in Toyama Prefecture, and the match between Sota Fujii (21 years previous) and the challenger Takumi Ito (21 years previous) was a match between one another. The recreation led to a draw resulting from “Mochi Shogi”, which eradicated the potential of getting the “balls” caught.
