Season’s First Snowfall in Tokyo, 10 Days Later Than Average

TOKYO, Jan 13 (News On Japan) –
Snow started falling within the Kanto area from Saturday afternoon, blanketing Tokyo with its first snowfall of the season, 10 days later than common however 11 days sooner than final 12 months.

As night approached, the climate turned to a mixture of rain and snow, with temperatures in central Tokyo falling to round 2°C, in line with the Japan Meteorological Agency
