Road rage: Man accused of stabbing driver in face with kitchen knife – TokyoReporter

CHIBA (TR) – Police right here have arrested a 44-year-old man after he allegedly stabbed one other motorist within the face with a kitchen knife following a site visitors collision, reviews Nippon News Network (May 1).

Junichi Inoue was taken into custody on the spot on April 29 after attacking a person in his 50s on a nationwide freeway within the Shimosangao space of Noda City.

During police questioning on suspicion of tried homicide, Inoue admitted to the assault however partially denied the tried homicide cost. “I stabbed him with a knife, but I did not intend to kill him,” the suspect was quoted as saying.

Road rage

According to investigators, the violent altercation stemmed from a driving dispute. Inoue instructed police he turned infuriated as a result of he believed the sufferer was partaking in “road rage” driving.

Prior to the stabbing, Inoue’s car crashed into the sufferer’s automotive, which was touring in entrance of him, triggering a three-car pileup.

No accidents have been reported from the collision itself. However, the sufferer sustained a stab wound to his proper cheek from a kitchen knife. The harm is taken into account minor and would require roughly two weeks to heal.
