Rare Pod of About 50 Dolphins Spotted in Seto Inland Sea

A uncommon pod of round 50 dolphins was noticed swimming by the Seto Inland Sea off Ozu, Ehime Prefecture, with dozens of dorsal fins repeatedly breaking the floor because the animals moved collectively.

The dolphins have been encountered by a leisure fishing boat on September 17, and pictures taken from the vessel confirmed giant numbers of fins showing one after one other throughout the water.

The boat’s captain mentioned it was uncommon to see such a big group within the space.

The dolphins might have been swimming collectively whereas chasing colleges of horse mackerel, mackerel or different prey, in response to the captain.
