Princess Aiko, the eldest daughter of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, has been formally confirmed to graduate from Gakushuin University.
Princess Aiko is presently a senior on the Faculty of Letters, Department of Japanese Language and Literature at Gakushuin University. In December final 12 months, she submitted her commencement thesis on the theme of “Medieval Japanese Poetry.”
According to sources, Princess Aiko has fulfilled the mandatory credit for commencement. This morning, the college introduced this 12 months’s graduates, together with Princess Aiko.
The commencement ceremony at Gakushuin University is scheduled to happen on March 20.
