BEIJING, July 7 (Xinhua) — The July seventh Incident, also referred to as the Lugou Bridge Incident, which occurred in 1937, is acknowledged as the beginning of Japan’s full-scale invasion of China, and China’s whole-of-nation resistance towards Japanese aggression.

The disaster woke up the Chinese nation.
