Police have arrested a person in his 20s after 3 folks have been killed in a collision involving seven autos on the Tokyo Expressway on Tuesday moerning.

At round 7:30 a.m. on May 14, a truck rear-ended a passenger automotive close to the Bijogi Junction on the outbound Ikebukuro Line of the Tokyo Expressway in Toda City, resulting in an accident involving a complete of seven autos.

According to investigators, a hearth broke out in a single giant truck and three passenger automobiles, with fireplace vans dispatched to extinguish the flames.

The accident resulted in three fatalities and two minor accidents.

The Metropolitan Police Department arrested the truck driver, a person in his twenties, on suspicion of negligent driving leading to demise. The actual reason for the accident is at present underneath investigation.
