OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police on Saturday introduced the arrest of a 59-year-old man for allegedly kidnapping allegedly calling out to a runaway highschool boy and taking him to his dwelling, experiences the Sakei Shimbun (Feb. 8).
In early February, Shinichi Imamura, a resident of Sennan City, allegedly known as out to the male highschool scholar in Osaka City. He requested, “If you don’t have anywhere to go, why don’t you stay over?” He then took him to his dwelling.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of kidnapping a minor, Imamura denied the costs. He mentioned, “I just gave him a place to sleep. I didn’t kidnap him.”
On January 7, a complete of 4 kids — together with the male highschool scholar and three others, all aged between 13 and 17 and residing in Hyogo Prefecture — had been rescued from Imamura’s dwelling.
None of them had been injured, police mentioned.
The 4 are believed to have been frequenting the “Gurishita” space within the Dotonbori space of Osaka City. The moniker is a reference to the favored assembly place below (shita) the Glico commercial.
On February 6, police acquired a name from the household of one other woman, saying that she had not returned dwelling. Location info from the woman’s smartphone led officers to Imamura’s dwelling. The subsequent day, investigators visited the house and located the 4 kids. The different woman was later discovered close to Gurishita and brought into custody.
