Olympic corruption case: Former managing director of KADOKAWA sentenced to 2 years in jail suspended for 4 years | NHK

In a corruption case involving sponsorship contracts for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, the Tokyo District Court has dominated in opposition to the previous managing director of main publishing firm KADOKAWA, who was accused of paying over 69 million yen in bribes to a former director of the organizing committee. He was sentenced to 2 years in jail, suspended for 4 years, for “leaving a stain on the match.”
