Vehicles used to launch missiles have been dropped at a brand new Ground Self-Defense Force base to be opened this month on Ishigaki Island in Okinawa Prefecture.
The Ministry of Defense plans to open the “Ishigaki Garrison”, the primary base of the Ground Self-Defense Force on Ishigaki Island, on the sixteenth of this month, and the autos used on the garrison have been unloaded at Ishigaki Port for the reason that finish of final month.
On the fifth, simply after 7:30 am, autos used for launching missiles and light-weight armored autos left the port one after one other and headed for the garrison.
At the doorway and exit of the port, a gaggle of residents against the deployment of the Self-Defense Forces held a protest by blocking the gate from early within the morning, and the police moved them by holding their our bodies.
