NTT West subsidiary data leak Former non permanent worker obtained compensation from listing company | NHK

A former non permanent worker of a subsidiary of NTT West illegally leaked about 9 million items of private data from native governments and firms, and the previous non permanent worker is suspected of receiving greater than 10 million yen from a listing company. This was newly found by way of interviews with investigators. Police are investigating the matter, suspecting that it was compensation for leaking data to this listing company.
