Tumakuru (Karnataka) [India], August 1 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V Somanna on Saturday highlighted that Karnataka’s upcoming all-party assembly will assist chart the best way ahead amid a severe water scarcity, emphasising that choices should respect constitutional frameworks and Supreme Court directives.
Speaking to reporters in Tumakuru, Somanna stated the state was going through a severe water scarcity and burdened that Karnataka’s pursuits have to be protected whereas adhering to the federal construction.
‘The Chief Minister has referred to as an all-party assembly tomorrow. As a minister within the Government of India, we consider within the federal construction and need all the things to perform accordingly. But when Karnataka itself is going through a water scarcity, there isn’t any level in releasing water to a different state. He stated the Supreme Court would look at the authorized and constitutional facets of the problem and that each one stakeholders have been certain to comply with its instructions.
