TOKYO, Jul 26 (News On Japan) –
A dinosaur fossil present in a stratum relationship again roughly 110 million years (Early Cretaceous) in Tamba-Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, has been recognized as a brand new genus and species of the small carnivorous dinosaur household Troodontidae, which is carefully associated to birds.
This discovery was introduced on July twenty fifth within the on-line version of the British scientific journal by a analysis group from the Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo (situated in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture) and Hokkaido University.
The dinosaur, estimated to be about 1.1 meters in size and weighing round 2.5 kilograms, is believed to have been lined in feathers and moved on two legs.
