A male member of Waseda University’s sumo membership was arrested by police on suspicion of violating the Cannabis Control Act after asking an acquaintance in Fukuoka Prefecture to ship him hashish. In response to the interview, the college revealed that it’s interviewing different membership members, investigating the circumstances behind the incident, and contemplating measures to forestall it from taking place once more.
