“Make fitness a daily habit”: Former India pacer Parvinder Awana highlights Fit India marketing campaign’s position in youth consciousness

New Delhi [India], September 20 (ANI): Former Indian cricketer Parvinder Awana participated within the ‘Sundays on Cycle’ occasion underneath the Fit India Movement and highlighted the significance of creating health a day by day behavior, whereas encouraging children to avoid substance abuse.

While chatting with ANI, Mandaviya praised the Indian diaspora in Japan for organising the “Sundays on Cycle” occasion to cheer and encourage Indian athletes competing on the Asian Games in Nagoya, expressing confidence that the athletes will carry out strongly and produce glory and delight to the nation.

‘The Asian Games are going down in Nagoya, Japan, and Indian athletes are taking part in them. To encourage and increase their morale, the Indian diaspora organised a biking occasion on Sunday to cheer for India. I’m assured that our athletes will carry out nicely and produce glory to the nation,’ Mandaviya stated. 

Fit India Sundays on Cycle is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) in collaboration with the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), Raahgiri Foundation and MY Bharat. 

The biking drive is carried out concurrently throughout all States and Union Territories, together with at SAI Regional Centres, National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs), SAI Training Centres (STCs), Khelo India State Centres of Excellence (KISCEs) and Khelo India Centres (KICs). Over 6000 NAMO Fit India golf equipment additionally organise the biking initiative nationwide each week.
