Tokyo [Japan], July 1 (ANI): A priceless portray that Nazi Germany stole from a Polish aristocrat in 1940 has been present in Japan and returned to Poland, as per the Polish Embassy in Japan and a Tokyo-based artwork public sale home, Kyodo News reported.

The portray, “Madonna with Child” by Italian Baroque-Era painter Alessandro Turchi, was handed over to the Polish Embassy in Tokyo in late May at no expense to Poland. However, it’s unclear how the piece ended up within the possession of its earlier Japanese proprietor.

The embassy claims that that is the primary time a bit of artwork that was seized from Poland throughout Nazi rule has been discovered within the Far East, as per Kyodo News.
