TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police are looking for a person who tried to rob a global scholar in Nakano Ward whereas talking English, stories the Sankei Shimbun (Feb. 3).
At round 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the can be intruder rang the intercom on the scholar’s house. When the coed answered, the intruder head-butted him within the face.
The man then barged in together with his footwear on and grabbed a kitchen knife. Though showing to be Japanese, the intruder stated in English: “Give me wallet.”
The male resident, questioned the explanation in Japanese, “Nande?”
The intruder shortly switched his threats from English to Japanese: “Give me your wallet.”
The two then engaged in a scuffle. Upon seeing the male resident was injured, the intruder fled the scene nonetheless holding the knife however with out having taken something.
