HANGZHOU, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) — With in the future to go till the opening ceremony, the torch relay of the Hangzhou Asian Para Games concluded in Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou, east China’s Zhejiang Province on Saturday.
Sun Pengxiang, who’s from Inner Mongolia and was a javelin champion on the Tokyo Paralympic Games with a brand new world file, was the primary torchbearer amongst a complete of 127 taking part within the remaining leg.
The remaining torchbearer was Xu Haijiao, who received three silver and two bronze medals on the Rio and Tokyo Paralympics and also will take part within the Hangzhou Asian Para Games.
Xu carried the torch to the East Square of Hangzhou Olympic Centre Swimming Stadium and lit up the flame cauldron.
On October 22, the Hangzhou Asian Para Games will formally begin and the flame might be used to ignite the primary cauldron on the opening ceremony.
