According to the commerce statistics launched by the Ministry of Finance final month (February), the steadiness of commerce, which is calculated by subtracting imports from exports, was a deficit of 897.7 billion yen.
The commerce deficit is the nineteenth consecutive month, and the reason being that the quantity of imports has expanded vastly towards the background of rising crude oil costs.
