About 100 immediately operated shops nationwide will begin charging for six objects together with plastic spoons, forks, and straws.
The worth for a spoon or fork might be set at 6 yen, whereas dessert spoons and straws will value 4 yen.
This initiative is anticipated to scale back plastic utilization by roughly 4 tons yearly.
