Javier Campopiano, international chief inventive officer, international shoppers for Omnicom Advertising Group (OAG), is stepping down from his position, ADWEEK has realized.
Campopiano, the previous McCann Worldgroup and McCann Worldwide chief inventive officer, will depart Omnicom on the finish of May. An Omnicom spokesperson mentioned the corporate has no plans to switch his position.
He departs six months after taking up the OAG position as a part of Omnicom’s acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG) in December 2025.
Prior to that, Campopiano had been McCann’s international inventive chief since 2023. During his tenure, he helped the company community win shoppers together with Ferrero, Ikea, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, and LinkedIn, and produce Cannes Lions Grand Prix and Titanium-awarded work for manufacturers reminiscent of Xbox and L’Óreal.
